As a vertically integrated company, Sambazon takes pride in minimizing their environmental impact wherever possible. USE OF FAIR TRADE PREMIUM Theirr Fair trade premium is given directly to the communities as they support the fair trade belief that the communities should tell them what they need, not the other way around, Sambazon works closely with the people and local NGO’s to provide food, shelter and medical care. To date, their funds have built or refurbished seven schools, a hospital, and multiple community centers, provided water filters, and improved the health conditions of over 2,800 students, 1,300 children, and 2,000 families. | ||||
