| Impact, actions & engagements remarquables | | | The Savannah Fruits Company (SFC) is a Ghanaian registered company based in the middle of the savannah zone of northern Ghana, Tamale. SFC was founded in 2006 on the belief that business can and should produce social good and contribute to the sustainability of our planet's ecosystem. The core business being production of traditional hand-crafted shea butter and Virgin Coconut Oil. Partnering with about 25 women cooperatives in sourcing and processing of shea nuts and butter - mostly found in rural areas where shea nuts are sourced. SFC supports the cooperatives in aspects of capacity building, and infrastructure provision geared towards their development. The cooperatives administer their FTDF through a committee elected to spearhead its affairs. Various development works have been completed - water provision, community storerooms, renovation of schools, acquisition of furniture. | ||||
