| Social Impact & Special Achievements | | | At Alter Eco Foods, a B-Corp founded in 2005, our mission is to shockingly delight and inspire the world with the cleanest, greenest snacks on earth. Moreover, our purpose is to benefit the health of people and planet, by addressing climate change and inequality. While reinforcing the importance of our Fair Trade values, our model also promotes regenerative agriculture with our grower partners to “farm like a forest,” and focuses on the three pillars of: restoring ecosystems, improving livelihoods, and reducing waste. Today, we have converted 700 farmers and 1,500 acres to regenerative farming. In addition to the support of regenerative agriculture for our chocolate products, our support also extends to our quinoa and granola products where our farmer partners not only are able to establish a certain level of food sovereignty, but also receive a fair price for their crops. | ||||
