It is first and foremost a community business project built around women in rural areas and forests in the area of biodiversity. Created in 2018 and located in Ferkessédougou in the Savannah district, our main activity is the grinding of shea almonds to produce shea butter. Bio Amandes employs 25 employees. Bio Amandes is the only industrial processor in the shea sector in Côte d'Ivoire, involved in the supply and production of local shea butter. Through its operations, the company adds value to this sector by employing a local workforce and sourcing raw materials directly from 7,300 women. Bio Amandes has an annual production capacity of 350 MT of unrefined shea butter Bio Amandes est une entreprise de transformation et d'exportation de karité basée en Côte d'Ivoire. C'est d'abord et avant tout un projet d'entreprise communautaire bâti autour des femmes en milieu rural et des forêts de la zone de biodiversité. Créée en 2018 et située à Ferkessédougou dans le district des savanes, notre activité principale est le broyage des amandes de karité pour produire du beurre de karité. Bio Amandes emploie 25 salariés. Bio Amandes est le seul transformateur industriel de la filière karité en Côte d'Ivoire, impliqué dans l'approvisionnement et la production de beurre de karité localement. Par ses opérations, l'entreprise ajoute de la valeur à ce secteur en employant une main-d'œuvre locale et en s'approvisionnant en matière premières directement auprès de 7 300 femmes.
