| Impact, actions & engagements remarquables | | | Forestwise her mission is to halt deforestation by increasing rainforest value. Operating in the Netherlands, Forestwise supports PT Forestwise Wild Keepers in Indonesia to sustainably produce high quality, wild harvested, non-timber rainforest products, from existing forests and without harming the forest, thereby increasing the value of the forest and empowering the forest communities to keep protecting it. Forests can produce up to five times more than monoculture plantations, without producing any waste. That’s why theye believe the answer lies in shifting from monoculture agriculture to forest-based production systems. They need to reestablish the link between nature and what they consume. This is the basis on which Forestwise is created. | ||||
