| Impact, actions & engagements remarquables | | | African Organic/Amfri Farm Ltd has been active in sustainable agriculture since 1999 mainly in organic standards (EU regulation, NOP rule, JAS and Demeter). Fair for Life certification was started in 2009. Our effort to achieve social goals with farmers, workers and communities within the project areas is evident with good working relationship with people involved. The company has not yet started selling Fair Trade products since there is no buyer for Fair Trade products yet. Amfri donated land at the farm to two schools, mosque and 3 churches and support the school with farming projects, growing maize which is used to feeding the children. Other projects are done on a needs basis looking at the prevailing conditions in the current surrounding where communities need help and Amfri can extend a hand. | ||||
