| Impact, special achievements & commitments | | | Naturamus is a pioneering sourcing partner for vegetable oils, waxes, essential oils such as rose oil, and hydrolates as premium resources for cosmetics, food, and remedies. In order to (1) ensure highest product quality requirements possible, (2) contribute to their partners’ sustainable livelihoods, and (3) to promote organic agriculture worldwide, they initiate or support sourcing partnerships all over the world. This initiative has led to a growing network of smallholders, producers, and trading partners, of which they are an active part. The naturamus has been established in order to support its partners with the aim of becoming financially and structurally autonomous, and to promote social and ecological sustainability worldwide. To reach these aims, they support their partners financially and with know-how. They help their partners to obtain organic or FFL-certifications, pay good and fair prices for fair loans, and commit themselves to purchase their partners’ harvest volumes. This reduces the entrepreneurial risk of their partners, which is why they can plan without risk with the aim of developing endogenously. | ||||
