| Impact, special achievements & commitments | | | ASPAG was founded in 2005 with the aim of processing ginseng, prioritizing sustainable quality and promoting the protection of native ginseng, and consequently protecting the fauna and flora in the floodplains and islands. This project is proposed for organic certification and Fair For Life/For Life of the Brazilian Ginseng product (Pfaffia glomerata), produced by ASPAG (Querência do Querência do Norte-PR) in the city of Querência do Norte - PR, Brazil. Today ASPAG works with 6 producers in the ginseng project with organic certification and Fair Trade, has a production area of 32.68 hectares and the estimated production for ginseng will be 55,200.00 kg of green mass, resulting from this production 13.800 kg dry Ginseng. The project's mission is to strengthen the local community, maintain a strong social organization, encourage family farming, affirm the culture/identity of the family farmer, and maintain cultural activities, enabling a development award and joint action based on fair trade. | ||||
