FUAPROKA / BF was created in 2014 after the restructuring of UNAPROKA / BF according to law 014. It is currently present in five regions of the country with its headquarters in Ouagadougou. Per year FUAPROKA / BF has a production capacity of more than 500 Tons of shea butter and more than 5000 tonnes of shea kernels. The foreign markets are the ML laboratories for shea butter and a new collaboration with SAVANA FRUIT COMPAGNY. Nationally, there are a few local buyers for the butter and a collaboration for this campaign with the company AAK. In total more than one hundred and fifty women are employed in the production centers and around thirty people as administrative, technical and support staff. In the field, a network of more than 3,800 collectors of shea almonds is functional. The optimal activity period is between September and February for the collection, processing of almonds and the production of large quantities of butter. The other productions are made on demand. Collaboration agreements with partners are made in the form of protocols materialized by annual contracts for large orders. FUAPROKA / BF is certified ORGANIC (EOS and NOP) the standard for sale in Canada (COR) is desired. At a fair level, FUAPROKA is FFL and FL certified.
La FUAPROKA/BF a été créé en 2014 après la restructuration de UNAPROKA/BF selon la loi 014. Elle est actuellement présente sur cinq régions du pays avec son siège à Ouagadougou. Par an la FUAPROKA/BF a une capacité de production de plus de 500 Tonnes de beurre de karité et plus de 5000 tonnes d'amandes de karité. Les marchés étrangers sont les laboratoires ML pour le beurre de karité et une collaboration en naissance avec SAVANA FRUIT COMPAGNY. Au niveau National, il s’agit de quelques acheteurs locaux pour le beurre et d’une collaboration pour cette campagne avec la société AAK. Au total plus de cent cinquante femmes sont employées dans les centres de production et une trentaine de personnes comme personnel administratif, technique et de soutien. Sur le terrain, un réseau de plus de 3 800 collectrices d’amandes de karité est fonctionnel. La période d'activités optimale se situe entre septembre et Février pour la collecte, le traitement des amandes et la production du beurre de grande quantité. Les autres productions se font à la demande. Les accords de collaboration avec les partenaires se font sous forme de protocoles concrétisés par des contrats annuels pour les grandes commandes. La FUAPROKA/BF est certifiée BIO (EOS et NOP) le standard pour la vente au Canada (COR) est souhaité. Au niveau équitable, la FUAPROKA est certifiée FFL et FL. |
