Impact, special achievements & commitments | CONACADO has worked on projects aimed at improving farmers’ and the community’s quality of life. Education: Project designed to improve farmers'training and education on: • Formal education - school supplies, repair of schools, scholarships; • Informal education – production and unit management training and workshops; • Financial education aimed to convert farmers into successful entrepreneurs. Gender and youth: Initiatives on women and youth empowerment including: • Education; • Support for female micro entrepreneurship; • Opportunities for youth in their communities. Health: Projects aimed at improving health services and facilities: • support to local health care service centers (donation of supplies, construction and repair); • medical campaigns on health care issues. Environment: Initiative for cocoa farmers training on environmental issues. Rural development: Programs focused on improving welfare of the communities, including support for sports and social activities. Farming support: Technical assistance services to support cocoa farmers (maintenance and improvement of farms, providing material to improve yields and beans quality). | |||||||
