Certification for fair trade and responsible supply chains
Impact, special achievements & commitmentsCooperativa CAPEL is inspired by the cooperative principles defined by the International Cooperative Alliance, in the values of sustainability and in its own values such as: loyalty, transparency, ethics and integrity, commitment to the company, respect for people, responsibility, sense of urgency and act under cooperative principles.
The mission of the Cooperative is to elaborate and market mainly products based on pisco grapes to improve the quality of life of its members.

The principles of Fair Trade and Social Responsibility are matters that are quite close to the values of our Cooperative and are stated in its Policy for that purpose. Under this commitment, the Cooperative has incorporated the income from Fair Trade Premium to the Solidarity Fund of Cooperatives, which goes in support of health expenses and other contingencies that have their beneficiaries. Similarly, respect for the principles of social responsibility is the basis for relations with its workers that constitute the human capital that allows value chain processes to be developed in a framework of productivity, efficiency and good working environment .
