| Impact, special achievements & commitments | | | Kentaste Products Limited is the largest virgin coconut oil processing company in Kenya. As a certified organic and fair-trade company they work with farmers across Kwale County to produce coconut oil for export and domestic markets. Their commitment to their farmers goes beyond adherence to organic and fair-trade principles, it’s based on a belief in partnership and mutual success. To do this, they have a dedicated team of trained field officers who conduct specialized training session designed to improve farmers yields, personal finance management and other tools tailored to improve the lives of their partners. With a network of 1800 trained and certified farmers in 45 villages to-date, it is their vision to expand their family of farmers deeper and beyond Kwale County. The fair trade premium attached to their oil sales is invested back across a variety of projects including private health insurance cover and coconuts seedlings projects. | ||||
