Certification for fair trade and responsible supply chains
Impact, special achievements & commitmentsHarmless Harvest was conceived with fair trade and social responsibility principles at its core. In fact, we are less about the products we bring to market than we are about proving that it’s possible to profitably bring those products to market in such a way that everyone involved, from the farmer that harvests at the beginning to the consumer that consumes at the end, and everyone in-between that makes our products possible, is treated fairly and in a socially responsible way. With this proof, it is our sincere hope that other companies from our own industry and maybe even some others will take notice and adopt similar positions regarding fair trade and social responsibility.

A world where nutritious, clean, organic and healthy food and beverages are the standard rather than the exception; where all people involved in the chain of custody are treated with fairness; and the planet is treated harmlessly.
Touch more lives with the clean food and beverage movement by creating delicious Harmless foods produced and traded with fair and sustainable business practices that promote social, agricultural and environmental progress.
Our success will be measured by our ability to create new participants in the economy and demonstrate that modern capitalism can successfully deliver more equitable economic distribution, environmental improvements and cleaner, healthier foods.
1 We create delicious, healthy, plant-based food & beverages. We combine proven ancestral sustainable farming practices, and pioneering technologies to preserve the nutritional values and sensory pleasure, bringing the goodness of plants to people straight from the source.
2 Our Brand is Our Values – Our brand is the future we want to create: better food, from better sources, with a business model that promotes the welfare of all people involved. We operate under constructive capitalism principles, creating a positive impact between people and plants, companies and communities, industry and environment. Our brand is a source of inspiration for others.
3 Our Commercial & Supplier Partners Are our Allies to Expand the Positive Impact: We partner with farmers, suppliers and customers to create business relationships that benefit the complete eco-system including the consumers.
4 We Continuously Reduce Waste, Recycle and Improve Our Methods. We are eco-conscious in our sustainable product design and we value our human, environmental, and economic resources. We are learners and we aspire to use, recycle, or compost everything we touch because it is simply the right thing to do.
5 Our People Are Story Makers Eager to Lead the Harmless Food Movement. We are proud of what we do. We are a collaborative and innovative culture and we collectively want our job at Harmless to be the best job we’ve ever had.

Harmless selected Fair for Life in 2012 after considering the different available Fair-Trade standards.
Fair for Life fully matched Harmless expectations with a very thorough and demanding certification program for Fair-Trade and Social Responsibility. Fair for Life was also requiring to implement a Fair-Trade Premium Fund dedicated to improve the life of the disadvantaged groups in the producers Community. We felt it was in line with our vision and a great way to give back to the Community. Harmless also appreciate the push to continuously improve our model, year after year.

Our Fair For Life Premium Fund has benefited to more than 6,000 persons in the Harmless Community since September 2015, keeps having more impact every month.
The distribution of the fund is decided by the FFL Premium Fund Committee composed of elected farmers and workers representatives. Successful projects include:
Mobile Heath Clinics: A medical bus with doctors and nurses will go to multiple sites offering check ups to all contributors to the supply chain including farmers, farm workers and factory workers. The check up includes a physical exam, lung x-ray, dental, optical, blood test, etc.
School Uniforms: The cost of a school uniform is the equivalent to a few days of salary for a farm worker. To ensure that no child is left behind, Harmless Harvest commits to purchasing school uniform for the children of our contributor from ages 2-18 years of age.

Our Harmless eco-system is what really matters and is a key component of our ambition, of our vision and of our mission as a company, as employees, as partners. We want to produce delicious products that are good for the planet and for the people who produce it.
HH Thailand Sourcing Team found that farmers needed strong support to develop their social practices and organic farming methods. Farmers are free to enroll and opt out of our program. But as members, they commit to respect the standards. In exchange for this commitment, HH Thailand team supports farmers daily in the implementation of the Organic and Fair For Life standards, seeking sustainable, long-lasting, beneficial impacts on agricultural practices in Thailand, on all farmers and all farm workers.
Our customers community is a strong supporter of this commitment and demonstrates it on a daily basis when purchasing our delicious products. We are leading the movement in our sector and we can only hope that the sector will be inspired and follow our path.
Environmental responsibility secures:
● Appropriate waste management
● Relevant ecosystem management
