Founded in 1884, Alland & Robert is a French family company, leader in tree exudates, with a strong expertise on acacia gum. Acacia gum is a natural additive or ingredient coming from from the acacia tree in the African Sahel, and used in food and cosmetic products around the world.
Alland & Robert is committed to an ambitious Corporate Social Responsibility policy, including low-carbon commitments (and supported by a third-party firm), certifications such as SEDEX/SMETA, FAIR FOR LIFE, membership to the WE USE WILD pledge as well as support for African communities and the African environment through a Corporate Foundation. Commitments to suppliers are reflected in the FAIR FOR LIFE certification, particularly in terms of responsible and ethical purchasing.
