| Impact, special achievements & commitments | | | The Dominican Foundation of Organic Producers - FUNDOPO is a first grade, non-profit organization. We are made up of cocoa producers under organic certification and fair trade. Yacao works in close relationship with the producers of FUNDOPO. FUNDOPO is grouped into more than 60 groups in the different cocoa-producing regions of the Dominican Republic. FUNDOPO, was born with the objective of improving the socioeconomic situation of its members. This objective is achieved by channeling its product, mainly to the European market. Another important point is the strengthening of knowledge through continuous training and technical assistance throughout the process of growing cocoa. | ||||
