(Vantage) has pioneered the use of jojoba oil in the personal care industry and is now the leading global supplier of jojoba oil and jojoba derivatives. Vantage operates farms and processing facilities in Arizona, USA which provide stable and well-paid jobs for 30 employees from local communities. Vantage is the largest vertically integrated company owning every step in the jojoba supply chain, from farming to oil extraction to derivatives production. Vantage has embarked on a sustainability journey and is committed to following green, sustainable, and socially responsible practices which help minimize its impact on the environment, as well as empower people. Examples of such practices include the utilization of high-efficiency drip irrigation systems that decrease water-loss due to evaporation and run off. Our 2030 goal is to reduce water consumption from 2020 levels. We also incorporate sustainable practices aimed at avoiding land erosion and ensuring soil remains fertile and healthy. We keep fallow land set aside for conservation. Our agronomy expertise and crop selection mean that no GMO are used in our farms. To optimize the use of crops after oil is extracted, the remaining cake is used for soil amendment to fertilize soil or to be used as compost. | ||||
