With more than 50 years of commercial activity, Cristalco is today an international player in the sale of sugar, alcohol and bioethanol in France and worldwide. Cristalco is the commercial subsidiary of the cooperative Group CRISTAL UNION, it is together that they define a strategy of demanding social responsibility throughout the chain, from the fields to the consumers.
In 2019, the Group was the first to invest in the creation of a french organic beet sugar chain, in order to meet consumer expectations, despite the complexity and demands of this crop.
The Fair For Life project within Cristalco thus aims to support a sustainable development of organic beet by providing special assistance to cooperators, thanks to the development fund set up.
Avec plus de 50 ans d’activité commerciale, Cristalco est aujourd’hui un acteur international de la vente de sucre, d’alcool et de bioéthanol en France et dans le monde. Cristalco est la filiale commerciale du groupe coopératif CRISTAL UNION, c’est ensemble que ces deux derniers définissent une stratégie de responsabilité sociétale exigeante tout au long de la filière, des champs jusqu’aux consommateurs.
En 2019, le Groupe a été le premier à investir dans la création d’une filière Française de sucre de betterave bio, afin de répondre aux attentes des consommateurs et cela malgré la complexité et l’exigence de cette culture.
Le projet de Commerce Equitable Fair For Life au sein de Cristalco a ainsi pour objectif de soutenir un développement durable de la betterave bio en apportant une aide particulière aux coopérateurs, grâce au fonds de développement mis en place. |
