| Impact, special achievements & commitments | | | Original Food GmbH has been founded in 2005 in order to import, process and market sustainable products, especially wild-grown coffee from Ethiopia, but also chocolate and tea. Their primary products are produced according to environmentally friendly, ethical and socially responsible standards. Since 2015 Original Food is running its own production unit, the KaffaWerkstatt roastery in Switzerland. They create long-term sources of income for small farmers by the sustainable use of their natural resources, especially the rainforest. Therefore, they contribute actively to improve the living conditions of producers and to conserve natural resources and biodiversity. They stand for natural and high-quality products, fair and long-term partnerships with all participants along the entire value chain. As a social entrepreneur, they are committed to strengthen ethical sourcing practices and high social responsibility in the present as well as in the future. | ||||
