| Impact, special achievements & commitments | | | La filière Ananas (fruit frais et jus), développée au Togo, est le résultat d’un partenariat entre Biocoop et Pronatura. Créée en 2005, elle propose des produits répondant à tous les impératifs agricoles, économiques et gustatifs de la bio selon Biocoop. Biocoop reste fidèle à son cahier des charges jusque dans la production de fruits exotiques hors Union européenne. Les ingrédients à la base des jus de fruits – les pains de sucre, la variété Cayenne lisse – sont sélectionnés pour leurs qualités gustatives. Les ananas sont cultivés par de petits producteurs dans des exploitations peu intensives. Ils sont récoltés et transformés en jus au Togo, puis embouteillés en France. Issu du commerce équitable, le fonds de développement attribue 47% de ses montants à l’équipement d’écoles et à l’alphabétisation des enfants en Afrique de l’Ouest. 20% permettent d’aider les personnes âgées dans les rangs de l’Union des producteurs. | ||||
