| Impact, special achievements & commitments | | | Bakalski is an organic, ISO 9001, ISO 22000 and FairWild certified producer and trader in raw material (pre-processed) of medicinal and aromatic plants sourced from sustainable farming or wild collection. Most of the traded material is from Bulgaria, while some is imported. For Fair for Life, only fennel (farming) imported from Macedonia is within the certification scope. The operator has close relationships with its supplier and supports the supplier in all aspects from farming practices to quality assurance, social responsibility and access to markets. Bakalski also implements social and envoronmental sustainability practices for its own operation in Bulgaria, beyond the scope of Fair for Life. | ||||
