Racines is a French company that imports and markets ethnic food products from Africa and the Indian Ocean around the world.
It has been working for more than 30 years to develop the traditional products of tropical countries and has always been a committed player forged on strong values:
Promote local productions
Participate in the sustainable economic development of small producers and local businesses
Promote traditional products from Africa and the Indian Ocean in Western markets

Today its Organic and Fair Trade Organic Roots product collection is developing thanks to a close relationship with its local partners:
- RACINES subsidiaries in Africa provide important technical support to support each actor in the industry and ensure quality products.
- Financial support is provided to producers for organic certifications and Fair Trade certifications.
- Racines is committed to its partners through projects to develop new local sectors
In Senegal, it participated in a production project of organic pepper and moringa
In Benin, it has invested in a sweet potato plantation made available to the local processing unit with which it has been working for more than 12 years.

Racines makes its clients discover its organic and Fair trade products:
-Hibiscus, moringa and pepper puree from Senegal.
-Manioc flour, sweet potato and plantain, cassava semolina and tapioca from Benin.

Aujourd’hui sa gamme de produits Racines BIO biologiques et équitables se développe grâce à un lien étroit avec ses partenaires locaux :
- Les filiales de RACINES en Afrique assurent un appui technique important afin d’accompagner chaque maillon des filières et assurer des produits de qualité.
- Un appui financier est apporté aux producteurs pour les certifications biologiques et labellisations équitables.
- Racines s’engage auprès de ses partenaires à travers des projets permettant de développer de nouvelles filières locales
A Sénégal, elle a participé à un projet de production de piment et de moringa bio
Au Benin, elle a investi dans une plantation de patate douce mise à disposition de l’unité de transformation locale avec laquelle elle travaille depuis plus de 12 ans.

Racines fait découvrir ses produits biologiques et équitables :
-Hibiscus, moringa et purée de piment du Sénégal.
-Farines de manioc, patate douce et banane plantain, semoule de manioc et tapioca du Benin.
