Impact, special achievements & commitmentsAsograncoffee, was iniciated in 1999, in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, made up of 9 families producing organic coffee with varieties of coffee such as Costilla, Colombia and Caturra. At the moment they have an annual production of 227.00 Kilos of organic coffee, certificated under regulations: EOS For Europe, NOP North American market and JAS for Japanese market. The period of product collection is centered in the months of November to March of each year; The coffee is produced under climatic conditions of 25 ° to 28 ° degrees, with regulated shade systems and cross-pollination with bees. They make use of the traditional humidification process and drying of the coffee is done in cement courtyards, walkways and mechanical silo; All these conditions allow one of the best organic coffees in the world to be produced, with unique conditions and worked by peasant families committed to the environment and the social welfare of the families and people involved in the process.
