| Impact, special achievements & commitments | | | Serendi Coco Samoa is a joint venture with an US partner Dr.Bronner's, US based FFL soap company. Since 2016, Serendi Coco Samoa have converted the farms and it's production to be fully organic and fair trade managed, providing opportunity to their farmers and their workers to learn about the advantages of Organic and Fair Trade products, and understand their roles and responsibilities to certification process to access a better international market avenues. They (the farmers, on-farm producers and the company), were able to gain certificate for Organic and Fair For Life in 2017. They provide on-going training to individual farmers and driers to ensure they understand the value of their work and time which much value are added on to their product. Serendi Coco Samoa continues to work closely with the farmers to share their skills, knowledge and experience to maintain and sustain production of coconut. | ||||
