| Impact, special achievements & commitments | | | EN/FR Groupe Pierre Fabre is the world's 2nd largest dermo-cosmetics laboratory and France's 2nd largest private pharmaceutical group, with subsidiaries in 43 countries, including Madagascar. The Madagascan subsidiary, S.E.A.R, is responsible for supplying the periwinkle from which the active ingredient in several cancer treatments is extracted. Each year, the subsidiary supplies nearly 100 tonnes of periwinkle leaves, and manages an arboretum, a voluntary protected area and a reforestation project. It is also a privileged site for botanical expertise. Committed since 2014 to a voluntary approach to labeling its CSR approach, in 2016 S.E.A.R was awarded the "Excellence" level according to Ecocert's Responsible Company label. Groupe Pierre Fabre est le 2ème laboratoire dermo-cosmétique mondial et le 2ème groupe pharmaceutique privé français, détient des filiales dans 43 pays dont Madagascar. La filiale malgache, S.E.A.R, est chargée de l’approvisionnement en pervenche dont est extrait le principe actif de plusieurs traitements en cancérologie. Chaque année, la filiale approvisionne près de 100 tonnes de feuilles de pervenche, assure par ailleurs la gestion d’un arboretum, d’une aire protégée volontaire, du projet de reforestation. Elle est cependant un site privilégié d’expertise botanique. Engagée depuis 2014 dans une démarche volontaire de labellisation de sa démarche RSE, la S.E.A.R obtient en 2016 le niveau « Excellence » selon le label Entreprise Responsable d’Ecocert. | ||||
